About Us
Michele is a Texas girl at heart but loves the excitement of the big city. After graduating from the University of Texas she moved to New York City to pursue a career in marketing and public relations. After two short years, she missed tex-mex and her new niece, Lily, so much that she made the decision to come back to her roots. Now she works in the Texas Medical Center with a career in Marketing.
Michael fell in love with West Texas and decided to spend 7 years at Texas Tech University – where he earned multiple degrees, including his MBA. After spending a year living the high life in Galveston, gaining experience in project management, he decided to move back to Houston and changed direction towards a career in finance. He now works as a Market Analyst in The Woodlands, TX.
How We Met
Michele and Michael started their story in 1998 when they met in Drama Club at Klein Oak High School. Over the next 4 years they developed a strong friendship that continued through college. Staying in touch even when they were across the country from one another, their friendship never faltered. Always there for one another, whether going as the date to his sister’s wedding or helping her brother out with a flat tire in Lubbock, the two always knew there was something special between them. Then in 2009 when Michele moved back to Texas and Michael was finishing up his MBA, they began dating. It wasn’t long before they both knew they had found the person they were supposed to end up with…it only took 12 years for them to figure it out.
